It was apparent to the <br />Fire Departments that the state leg. wasn't willing to make an ordinance which was workable. The big <br />problem we have is that many times a fire is started and then left unattended. Matter of fact I believe that <br />there have been some bridge structure burned because of this. Second biggest problem is that someone <br />calls in a fire, the Volunteers respond to find that it is just a planned burn. A lot of wasted time & effort. We <br />are just trying to make this a workable ordinance to make those wishing to burn, be responsible. We have <br />had to my knowledge no negative comments to this ordinance at this time.
