Upon completion of future asphalt or concrete surfacing, Cass County will seal cracks, <br />provide striping, pothole repair, chip sealing, signing and other maintenance as deemed <br />appropriate by the Cass County Engineer at the County's expense. Leonard Township <br />will continue to provide and fund snow removal of the highway after surfacing. <br /> <br />Dakota Vision LCC agrees to fund 50% of the actual future asphalt overlay(s) not to <br />exceed $100,000 increased by 3% per year from January 1, 2003 when deemed necessary <br />by the Cass County Engineer. It is anticipated that the original asphalt surfacing will <br />require an asphalt overlay in 15 - 20 years after construction.
