A copy of the grant has <br />been forwarded to the States Attorney for comment. <br /> <br />Our office hopes to reduce zhe potential for crashes, especially <br />those involving injuries or death, and enforce other traffic laws. <br /> <br />The grant is for overtime expenses of $2,500.00. This is 100 <br />percent federal funding and requires no local match. <br /> <br />A sample motion might read: <br /> <br />Move to approve a contract with the North Dakota Department <br />of Transportation in the amount of $2,500.00 to remove <br />alcohol and drug impaired drivers from our roadways. <br /> <br />Move to amend the Sheriff's budget for 2002 by increasing <br />revenue 101-3501-331.55-05 by $2,500.00 and expenditure 101- <br />3502-421.10-36 by $2,500.00. <br /> <br />if you have any furtker questions, please call. <br /> <br />Respectfully, <br /> <br />Capt.
