Laser Control quotes a <br />price of $42,800 and Frontier Precision, Inc., quotes a price $40,152 for GPS <br />Survey Equipment. Although the Trimble system from Frontier Precision is <br />less than Laser Control's quote of $42,800, we would like to purchase the <br />Loser Conu'ol's Topcon system because it has more features and capabilities <br />along with being more user friendly then the Trimble system. The Topcon <br />service level and training is also superior. <br /> <br />The approved budget inc udes $50,000 for this item. <br /> <br />SUG_G_E~TED MOTION: Authorize Chairman to sign purchase order for <br />the Topcon Legacy-E OPS/GLONASS System from Laser Control, Inc. for the <br />Cass County Highway Department in the amount of $42,800. <br /> <br /> <br />
