PLAN: <br /> <br />The parties agree to the following implementation: <br /> <br />(a) Each entity shall be responsible for enforcement of its <br />policies, laws and ordinances relative to the distribution and review <br />of petitions of candidates and for the filing of said petitions in their <br />respective offices. <br /> <br />(b) The County shall provide to the City an election calendar at <br />the time the County receives said calendar from the Secretary of <br />State of North Dakota. <br /> <br />(c) The County and City shall be responsible for any legal <br />publications they are required to publish in their respective official <br />newspapers. <br /> <br />(d) The City shall certify to the County the names of all eligible <br />candidates for office, and the position on the ballot, at least 55 days <br />prior to the election. The County will be responsible for the actual <br />printing of ballots with the costs being the responsibility of the City. <br /> <br />(e) The polling location shall be at 210 3rd Street in the City, and <br />the County shall set the hours the poll is open. Polling hours shall <br />be consistent throughout the county. <br /> <br />(f) The County shall be responsible for naming the election <br />board, including inspectors, for the joint elections in accordance <br />with the NDCC Title 16.1. The City shall provide the County with <br />names of prospective Election inspectors at least 55 days prior to <br />election. <br />(g) The County shall provide and maintain necessary poll books <br />required by law. The County shall provide the City with a listing of <br />the voters in the city election within 45 days following a joint <br />election. <br /> <br />(h) The canvassing board shall be the County Canvassing <br />Board in accordance with NDCC Title 16.1. The Resolution Board <br />shall be named by the County Auditor as provided in NDCC Title <br />16.1. <br /> <br />(i) With 3 days after the result of an election is declared by the <br />canvassing board the County shall certify to the City the official <br />results of the election. The City shall be responsible for issuing a <br />Certificate of Election to each person elected for a city position. <br /> <br />4.
