Cass County Register of Deeds <br />Disaster Proofing Project <br /> <br />Final Quarterly Status Report - December 2001 <br /> <br />Status Report Date: January 8, 2002 <br />Prepared By: Mike Steiner <br /> <br />Accomplishments Since Last Quarterly Report: <br /> <br /> Microfilming has been completed in all 44 of the participating counties. <br />· Microfilming re-takes have been completed in all 44 participating counties. <br /> Submitted in-kind reimbursement forms for $15,242.84. <br />· Total in-kind reimbursement since the start of the project is $186,458.50. <br />· Updated NDRIN web site was put into production. <br />· The following non-pilot counties have signed the NDR1N Joint Powers Agreement: <br /> <br />Barnes <br />Cavalier <br />Griggs <br />Morton <br />Nelson <br />Stutsman <br /> <br />· Updated the JPA to reflect the additional non-pilot counties. <br />· Notified Cass County Government of the new NDRIN members. <br />· Developed a long-term funding plan for the electronic central repository. <br />· Thirty-three counties have currently agreed to help fund the NDRIN project. <br />· Currently 18 counties have signed the NDRIN JPA and agreed to contribute <br /> $2/document to help fund NDRIN. <br />· Currently 15 counties have agreed to contribute Si/document to help fund NDR1N. <br /> These fifteen counties will have any NDRIN initiation fees waved if there decide to <br /> sign the NDR1N JPA in the future. <br />· A letter was sent to the remaining 20 counties asking them to reconsider their <br /> decision not to participate in the long-term funding of NDRIN. <br />· Continued to collect data from the remote sites on a daily basis. <br />· Continued registering users for Interact access to the central repository. Currently we <br /> have seven (7) registered users for Intemet access. <br />· Updated the NDRIN JPA to include language that addresses the $2/document fee that <br /> will help fund NDRIN. <br />· Upgraded the NDRIN central repository server. <br /> <br /> <br />
