Cellular Digital Packet Data (6DPD) modem <br /> transmission is available as an option. <br />~ ITA tested, certified to meet or exceed the standards of the U.S. <br /> Federal Election Commission, and proven through use in <br /> thousands of actual elections. <br /> <br />BASIC FEATURES <br /> ~ Total compatibility with the current ES&S ballot system which allows <br /> it to be used in conjunction with the Model 150 and Model 550 central counters. <br /> ~ The Modet 100 is able to read a standard ES&S ballot inserted in any direction so there are no <br /> requirements for specific ballot orientation. <br /> <br /> ~ Flexible right- or left-hand response area, with oval or arrow response target <br /> <br /> ~ The Model 100 provides for both Voter and Election Supervisor feed back through an LCD display that <br /> indicates: <br /> <br /> · Digital Image Read Array <br /> · Public count of the number of Voters who have voted <br /> · In the Supervisory control mode it provides clear directions to the election officials on opening <br /> and closing the polls. <br /> · Various options are available through election definition software to reject over-votes and/or <br /> blank ballots <br /> · In the event of an over vote, the Model 100 will return the ballot to the voter and indicate in the <br /> LCD display the specific race in question and ask the voter if the ballot is to be accepted or <br /> rejected.
