Commission Minutes-December 17, 2001 2392 DEPARTMENT HEADS--PLEASE POST IN A CONSPICUOUS PLACE FOR STAFF TO READ REGULAR MEETING OF CASS COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS DECEMBER 17, 2001 MEETING TO ORDER Chairman John Meyer called the meeting to order at 3:30 PM with all members present as follows: Donna Schneider, Aion Wieland, Scoff Wagner, Robyn Sorum and John Meyer. MINUTES APPROVED MOTION, passed Mr. Wieland moved and Mrs. Sorum seconded that the minutes of the previous meeting be approved as written. Motion carried. AGENDA, Order a r~ MOTION, passed Mrs. Sorum moved and Mrs. Schneider seconded to approve the order of the agenda with the following changes: 1) omit the 2002 Ford Expedition from the Sheriff's request for purchase of vehicles at this time; and 2) add contract with Fargo-Cass Public Health and Cass County Social Services for in-home services. Motion carried. PERMIT FOR RAFFLE, Approved for Sandhills Archers, Inc. MOTION, passed Mrs. Schneider moved and Mr. Wagner seconded to approve a raffle permit for Sandhills Archers, Inc. on the date of January 9, 2002, at the Sandhills Archers indoor archery range located near West Fargo, North Dakota. On roll call vote, the motion carried unanimously. ROAD DEPARTMENT, Purchase order for Ford truck chassis MOTION, passed Mrs. Schneider moved and Mr. Wagner seconded to authorize the chairman to sign a purchase order for a Ford F550 Cab Chassis from the 2002 Highway Department budget. On roll call vote, the motion carried unanimously. SHERIFF'S DEPARTMENT, Purchase order for automobiles MOTION, passed Mrs. Schneider moved and Mr. Wagner seconded to authorize the chairman to sign a purchase order for the following vehicles from the 2002 Sheriff's Department budget as follows: On roll call vote, the motion carried unanimously. 2-2002 Dodge Intrepid Patrol Cars 3-2002 Chevrolet Impalas 2-2002 Dodge Intrepids 1-2002 Chevrolet Astro Van $18,745 each = $ 37,490 20,512 each = 61,536 17,241 each = 34,482 23,554each = 23,554 $157,062
