Commission Minutes--August 15, 2001 2335 <br /> <br />North Cass Water Resource District <br />Chairman Mike Buringrud was present. He said three major projects for next year involve <br />complete reconstruction on Drains 24, 25 and 26. He said four public meetings have been held <br />and the projects will be voted on soon. <br /> <br />Metropolitan Council of Governments (Metro COG) <br />Executive Director Brian Shorten was present. He said the budget submitted essentially is the <br />same from last year. The request for 2002 is $6,331 compared to $6,300 for this year. He said <br />county funds make up 10% of the budget and county participation is voluntary. Metro COG <br />has been involved with the joint dispatch center, GIS system and the corridor study along <br />County 17.
