On roll call vote, the motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />7. COMMISSION POLICY MANUAL, Amend Section 4.00. Advisorv Boards <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Wagner moved and Mr. Wieland seconded to appoint Thomas P. <br />Martin to the Fargo Planning Commission from the extraterritorial area <br />for a 5-year term to expire July 1, 2006, to replace John Syverson. On <br />roll call vote, the motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />8. SALE OF TAX-FORFEITED LOT, Quit Claim Deed to City of Buffalo <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Wagner moved and Mr. Wieland seconded to authorize the <br />chairman to sign a quit claim deed from the county to the City of <br />Buffalo for tax-forfeited land in the City of Buffalo. On roll call vote, <br />the motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />9. <br /> <br />--- <br /> <br />SALE OF TAX-FORFEITED LOT, County Deed to Peter W. and Katrina A. Doll <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Wagner moved and Mr. Wieland seconded to authorize the <br />chairman and the county auditor to sign a County Deed to Peter W. <br />and Katrina A. Doll for the purchase of tax-forfeited property <br />described as Lot 28, Lake Shure Estates. On roll call vote, the motion <br />carried unanimously. <br /> <br />10. EXTENSION SERVICES, Parentina Resource Center arant continuation <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Wagner moved and Mr. Wieland seconded that the Parenting <br />Resource Center Program for July 1, 2001, through June 30, 2002, be <br />implemented according to the grant guidelines; and that Cass County <br />Extension Service work with the County Auditor's Office to amend the <br />budget for the program. On roll call vote, the motion carried <br />unanimously. <br /> <br />11. LEASE ON FLOOD LOT, Chairman authorized to sian lease with David B. McNair <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Wagner moved and Mr. Wieland seconded to authorize the <br />chairman to sign a Lease of Property agreement with David B. McNair <br />for a flood buyout lot located in Stanley Township, described as Lot <br />12 of Forest River Subdivision. On roll call vote, the motion carried <br />unanimously. <br /> <br />12. <br /> <br />- <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #2001-20, Public hearina on extendina 911 fee to wireless service <br />Bonnie Johnson, County Coordinator, provided background information on the proposed <br />extension of 911 fees to wireless service. Legislation passed in the last session gives counties <br />the authority to extend the tax to cell phones by a resolution of the county board. A notice was <br />published in the county's official newspaper that the Cass County Commission will hold a public <br />hearing at this date, time and place to consider the adoption of a resolution to extend 911 fees. <br />
