-- -- ROTATIONAL DEPARTMENT MEETING FEBRUARY 20, 2001-2:00 PM 1. MEETING TO ORDER Chairman John Meyer called the Rotational Group "B" meeting to order with commissioners present as follows: Scott Wagner, Robyn Sorum and John Meyer. Commissioner Alon Wieland arrived later in the meeting. Commissioner Donna Schneider was absent. Also present were Kathy Ziegelmann, Brad Cogdill, Linda Brooks representing Dorothy Howard and Jim Brent. Birch Burdick was absent; however, he submitted written comments. 2. DEPARTMENT ACTIVITIES Clerk of Court . Mrs. Brooks said their office is busy working on the financial segment of the computer program in order to be ready for April 1 st, when their office becomes a state office. . She said the office has been working with old records and has sent some of them to the Institute for Regional Study here in Fargo. The institute is connected with North Dakota State University. Veterans Service . Mr. Brent said his office is working with Information Services to convert military discharges to the computer. . He said the new copier was delivered today and will handle the large ledger copies. He said he asked for bids and he picked the lowest bidder when choosing his copier. Reaional Child SUDDort . Mrs. Ziegelmann discussed legislative issues pertaining to her office. . Mr. Wieland asked if Mrs. Ziegelmann has heard about whether Regional Child Support will become a state office. Mrs. Ziegelmann has not heard any information on this issue. . She said that Information Services will soon install 15 new computers in their office. Extension Service . Mr. Cogdill distributed several handouts. He discussed new staff and the office's website and he gave program updates. 3. ADJOURNMENT There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned about 2:45 PM. ,.-...
