<br />-- <br /> <br />-- <br /> <br />ROTATIONAL DEPARTMENT MEETING <br />FEBRUARY 20, 2001-2:00 PM <br /> <br />1. <br /> <br />MEETING TO ORDER <br />Chairman John Meyer called the Rotational Group "B" meeting to order with <br />commissioners present as follows: Scott Wagner, Robyn Sorum and John <br />Meyer. Commissioner Alon Wieland arrived later in the meeting. Commissioner <br />Donna Schneider was absent. Also present were Kathy Ziegelmann, Brad <br />Cogdill, Linda Brooks representing Dorothy Howard and Jim Brent. Birch <br />Burdick was absent; however, he submitted written comments. <br /> <br />2. <br /> <br />DEPARTMENT ACTIVITIES <br />Clerk of Court <br />. Mrs. Brooks said their office is busy working on the financial segment of <br />the computer program in order to be ready for April 1 st, when their office <br />becomes a state office. <br />. She said the office has been working with old records and has sent some <br />of them to the Institute for Regional Study here in Fargo. The institute is <br />connected with North Dakota State University. <br /> <br />Veterans Service <br />. Mr. Brent said his office is working with Information Services to convert <br />military discharges to the computer. <br />. He said the new copier was delivered today and will handle the large <br />ledger copies. He said he asked for bids and he picked the lowest bidder <br />when choosing his copier. <br /> <br />Reaional Child SUDDort <br />. Mrs. Ziegelmann discussed legislative issues pertaining to her office. <br />. Mr. Wieland asked if Mrs. Ziegelmann has heard about whether Regional <br />Child Support will become a state office. Mrs. Ziegelmann has not heard <br />any information on this issue. <br />. She said that Information Services will soon install 15 new computers in <br />their office. <br /> <br />Extension Service <br />. Mr. Cogdill distributed several handouts. He discussed new staff and the <br />office's website and he gave program updates. <br /> <br />3. ADJOURNMENT <br />There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned about 2:45 PM. <br /> <br />,.-... <br />
