<br />Commission Minutes-October 2, 2000 2203 <br /> <br />DEPARTMENT HEADS--PLEASE POST IN A CONSPICUOUS PLACE FOR STAFF TO READ <br /> <br />REGULAR MEETING OF CASS COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS <br />OCTOBER 2, 2000 <br /> <br />1. MEETING TO ORDER <br />Chairman John Meyer called the meeting to order at 3:30 PM with all members present as <br />follows: Donna Schneider, Robbie Quick, Alon Wieland, Paul Koenig and John Meyer. <br /> <br />2. MINUTES APPROVED <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mrs. Schneider moved and Mr. Wieland seconded that minutes of the <br />last regular meeting held September 18, 2000, and minutes of the <br />special meeting held September 25,2000, be approved as written. <br />Motion carried. <br /> <br />3. AGENDA, Order approved <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Wieland moved and Mrs. Quick seconded to approve the order of <br />the agenda with one addition to the consent agenda being a request <br />from the Sheriff's Department to accept the 2000 law enforcement <br />block grant award. Motion carried. <br /> <br />4. ASSESSMENT OF OMITTED PROPERTIES, Approved <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mrs. Schneider moved and Mr. Koenig seconded to add part of the SW <br />1/4 less right-of-way and less Auditor's Lot 1 in Section 13 Township <br />142 Range 52, as omitted property for 2000 in the amount of $87,500 <br />commercial structures, according to notice sent from the county <br />auditor to the Good Samaritan Center in Arthur, North Dakota. On roll <br />call vote, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mrs. Schneider moved and Mr. Koenig seconded to add Lot 1 Block <br />5, First Addition to the City of Arthur, as omitted property for 2000 in <br />the amount of $64,800 residential lot and structure, according to the <br />notice sent from the county auditor to the Good Samaritan Center in <br />Arthur, North Dakota. On roll call vote, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />5. ROAD DEPARTMENT, 2001-2003 Federal Aid Program <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mrs. Schneider moved and Mr. Koenig seconded to authorize the <br />chairman to sign a letter to Dave Leftwich, North Dakota Department <br />of Transportation, regarding the projects and scheduled costs for the <br />2001-2003 Federal Aid Program. On roll call vote, motion carried <br />unanimously. <br />
