Cass Fargo Emergency <br />Management invited all Cass County emergency first responder organizations and communities <br />to submit applications for projects under federal guidelines allowed for the use of these <br />funds. Applications for over 25 projects were received from fifteen entities. These requests <br />totaled in excess of $1.5 million. <br /> <br />The local application process included an announcement of availability, a briefing for all <br />interested applicants, and a public hearing by the Cass Fargo Emergency Management <br />Oversight Committee. <br /> <br />The Cass Fargo Emergency Management Oversight Committee has made the recommendations <br />attached for distribution of these funds and directed that they be forwarded to the <br />commissions of Cass County and the City of Fargo for approval. <br /> <br />Suggested Motion: <br /> <br />Approve the recommendation for allocation of 2005 Homeland Security and 2005 <br />Law Enforcement Terrorism Prevention grant funds as made by the Cass Fargo <br />Emergency Management Board. <br /> <br />Sincerely, <br /> <br />Dave Rogness <br />Emergency Management Coordinator <br /> <br />Kym Overland <br />Emergency Management Coordinator <br />
