<br />Proclamation <br /> <br />2005 <br /> <br />By the Commissioners of Cass County, North Dakota <br /> <br />Whereas dedicated telecommunication operators daily serve the <br />citizens of Cass County by answering their request for law <br />enforcement, fire and emergency medical services by dispatching the <br />appropriate assistance as quickly as possible; and <br /> <br />Whereas the Congress of the United States, and the President of the <br />United States have established the second week of April as National <br />Telecommunications Week; and <br /> <br />Whereas the professional public safety telecommunicator is that vital <br />link between the citizen or victim and the public safety provide who <br />may apprehend a criminal, save their possessions from fire, save <br />their life or the life of a loved one; and <br /> <br />Whereas recognizing the services of the public safety <br />telecommunicators is in the best interests and safety of Cass County; <br />and <br /> <br />Whereas our Public Safety Communications personnel daily serve <br />the public in numerous ways without due recognition; <br /> <br />Now, Therefore, Cass County hereby proclaims April 1 0-16, 2005, to <br />be National Public Safety Telecommunication Week in Cass County <br />and encourage all citizens to join in this observance. <br /> <br />Dated at Fargo, North Dakota this 4th day of April, 2005. <br /> <br />Chairman <br />Cass County Board of Commissioners <br />
