<br />Commission Minutes--April 4, 2005 2883 <br /> <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Pawluk moved and Mr. Wagner seconded to hold the first reading of <br />Amended Ordinance #1997-3 (Cass County Park Campsites) and direct <br />that the appropriate notice be published; schedule a second reading; and <br />approve the ordinance with the following changes: on page 1, include the <br />fee structure as outlined earlier and limit a permit to one 30-day <br />reservation at a time; on page 1, item 1, delete the language pertaining to <br />a period not to exceed ten consecutive days; and on page 2, item 3, <br />include that group activities of twenty-five or more individuals will <br />require a $25 fee. Discussion: There was discussion about scheduling <br />the second reading for May 2, 2005. On roll call vote, the motion carried <br />unanimously. <br /> <br />13. VOUCHERS, Approved <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Wagner moved and Mrs. Sorum seconded to approve Voucher No. <br />196,156 through Voucher No. 196,430. On roll call vote, the motion <br />carried unanimously. <br /> <br />14. CASS/CLAY JOINT MEETING; CITY OF FARGO JOINT MEETING; SENATE BILL 2301; <br />COMPREHENSIVE PLAN SUBCOMMITTEE, Committee reports <br />Bonnie Johnson, County Coordinator, reminded commissioners that a Cass and Clay <br />County joint meeting will be held on April 12, 2005, in Moorhead. Also, a homeland security <br />meeting will be held on April 18, 2005, at 11 :30 AM at Fargo City Hall, with lunch being <br />provided. <br /> <br />Mrs. Johnson received an email on Senate Bill 2301, relating to child support enforcement. <br />The email also requested that a commissioner from each county in the host region attend a <br />meeting on Wednesday, April 6, 2005, in Bismarck to discuss the legislation. <br /> <br />Mr. Pawluk said he serves on a subcommittee for the Cass County Comprehensive <br />Subdivision Plan and they are waiting for the last person to be appointed. After the member <br />is chosen, the subcommittee will hold their meetings with the regularly scheduled County <br />Planning Commission meetings. <br /> <br />15. CORRESPONDENCE, Received and filed <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Wagner moved and Mrs. Sorum seconded to receive and file <br />correspondence outlined by the secretary as follows: Motion carried. <br /> <br />letter from North Dakota Department of Transportation regarding Cass <br />County project bid openings to be held April 22, 2005, at 9:30 AM. <br /> <br />16. EXECUTIVE MEETING, Attorney/client consultation <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Pawluk moved and Mr. Wagner seconded to close the meeting at 4:33 PM <br />to discuss pending adversarial administrative proceedings based on North <br />Dakota Century Code 44-04-19.1, the exception allowed for attorney <br />consultation. The topic to be discussed will be the Department of Labor <br />complaint brought by Kristi Biewer. Motion carried. <br />
