ROAD DEPARTMENT, Authorize sale of .781 acres of land in Kinyon Township <br />MOT/ON, passed <br />Mr. Pawluk moved and Mrs. Sorum seconded to authorize the sale of <br />approximately.781 acres of land in Kinyon Township adjacent to Cass <br />County Highway 81 to Mr. Paul Pratt. On roll call vote, the motion carried <br />unanimously. <br /> <br />9. RESOLUTION #2005-3, Amended Street Improvement District #2004-1, (Greyhawk) <br />MOT/ON, passed <br />Mr. Pawluk moved and Mrs. Sorum seconded to adopt Resolution #2005-3 <br />Accepting Bid, Showing Receipt of Engineer's Statement of Estimated <br />Cost and Directing Execution of Contract for the Amended Street <br />Improvement District #2004-1 (Greyhawk Estates Subdivision). On roll <br />call vote, the motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />10. RESOLUTION #2005-4, Sprina load restrictions <br />MOT/ON, passed <br />Mr. Pawluk moved and Mrs. Sorum seconded to adopt Resolution #2005- <br />4 implementing spring load restrictions on county highways, as follows: <br />On roll call vote, the motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION # 2005-4 <br />TO IMPLEMENT SPRING LOAD RESTRICTIONS <br />ON COUNTY HIGHWAYS <br /> <br />WHEREAS: Soft base conditions experienced during spring thaw reduce the load <br />carrying capacity of County Highways. <br /> <br />WHEREAS: The Cass County Board of Commissioners desires to prevent serious <br />damage to County Highways. <br /> <br />WHEREAS: 39-12-03 of the North Dakota Century Code authorizes local authorities <br />to impose vehicle weight restrictions on County Highways. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE: Be it resolved by the Cass County Board of Commissioners <br />that spring load restrictions will be imposed upon Cass County Highways in the <br />following manner: All County Highways to be posted in accordance with the Cass <br />County 2005 Spring Load Restriction Map dated March 7, 2005. Spring load <br />restrictions will be effective at 12:01 AM on March 21,2005. <br /> <br />Dated this 7th day of March, 2005. <br /> <br />11. PERMIT FOR LOCAL CHARITY, Approved for Don Hovden benefit <br />MOT/ON, passed <br />Mr. Pawluk moved and Mrs. Sorum seconded to approve a charity local <br />permit for the game of poker issued to Scott Brink, for the Don Hovden <br />Benefit, to be held on the date of March 19,2005, (or an alternate date of <br />April 9, 2005 in case of inclement weather), at the Knickerbocker Liquor <br />Locker, 412 Main Avenue, Hickson, North Dakota. On roll call vote, the <br />motion carried unanimously. <br />
