<br />Commission Minutes--February 18, 2005 2860 <br /> <br />SPECIAL MEETING OF CASS COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS <br />MEETING IN EXECUTIVE SESSION <br />FEBRUARY 18, 2005 <br /> <br />1. MEETING TO ORDER <br />A meeting of the Cass County Board of Commissioners was called to order by the <br />Chairman, Darrell Vanyo, at 1 :30 PM in the Commission Room, Cass County Courthouse. <br />All commissioners were present as follows: Scott Wagner, Vern Bennett, Robyn Sorum, <br />Ken Pawluk and Darrell Vanyo. <br /> <br />Also present were Birch Burdick, State's Attorney; County Auditor, Michael Montplaisir; <br />County Coordinator, Bonnie Johnson; Administrative Assistant, Joyce Schepp; and <br />Rebecca R. Nichole, Attorney for North Dakota Blue Cross and Blue Shield. <br /> <br />2. MEETING CLOSED AT 1 :30 PM FOR ATTORNEY/CLIENT CONSULTATION <br />The purpose of today's meeting is to discuss a health insurance subrogation claim with <br />legal counsel. <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Pawluk moved and Mr. Wagner seconded to close the meeting at <br />1 :30 PM to discuss pending and anticipated civil litigation or adversarial <br />administrative proceedings based on North Dakota Century Code 44-04- <br />19.1, the exception allowed for attorney consultation and/or negotiation. <br />The topic to be discussed is a health insurance subrogation claim. On <br />roll call vote, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />3. EXECUTIVE SESSION CLOSED/RECONVENE IN OPEN SESSION <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Wagner moved and Mrs. Sorum seconded to close the executive <br />session at 2:35 PM and reconvene in open session. Motion carried. <br /> <br />4.
