<br />Commission Minutes-November 22, 2004 2822 <br /> <br />INFORMAL MEETING OF CASS COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS <br />NOVEMBER 22, 2004 <br /> <br />1. <br /> <br />MEETING TO ORDER <br />Commissioners met for an informal planning meeting at 4:00 PM on Monday, November 22, <br />2004, in the Commission Room at the Courthouse. Members present were Robyn Sorum, <br />Scott Wagner, Ken Pawluk, Darrell Vanyo and Vern Bennett. Also present were Michael <br />Montplaisir, County Auditor; Terry Schmaltz, Information Technology Director; and Joyce <br />Schepp, Administrative Assistant. <br /> <br />2. <br /> <br />CHAIR AND VICE CHAIR NOMINATIONS <br />Commissioners discussed the chair and vice chair positions. The names will be forwarded to <br />the agenda for the first meeting in December, which is December 6, 2004. <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Wagner moved and Mr. Bennett seconded to nominate Darrell Vanyo, <br />the current vice chair, to serve as Cass County Commission Chairman <br />for the term of December 6, 2004 through December 5, 2005. Motion <br />carried. <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Vanyo moved and Mr. Wagner seconded to nominate Vern Bennett to <br />serve as Cass County Commission Vice Chairman for the term of <br />December 6,2004 through December 5,2005. Motion carried. <br /> <br />3. <br /> <br />PORTFOLIOS, COMMITTEE APPOINTMENTS, MEETING DATES <br />Commissioners discussed portfolio assignments for the upcoming year, as well as other <br />board and committee assignments, including outside agency representation.
