<br />Commission Minutes--November 19, 2004 <br /> <br />2821 <br /> <br />SPECIAL MEETING OF CASS COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS <br />MEETING IN EXECUTIVE SESSION <br />NOVEMBER 19, 2004 <br /> <br />1. <br /> <br />MEETING TO ORDER <br />A special meeting of the Cass County Board of Commissioners was called to order by the <br />Chairwoman, Robyn Sorum, at 4:00 PM in the Commission Room, Cass County <br />Courthouse. Four members were present as follows: Darrell Vanyo, Scott Wagner, Vern <br />Bennett and Robyn Sorum. John Meyer was absent. <br /> <br />Also present were Birch Burdick, State's Attorney; County Auditor Michael Montplaisir; <br />County Engineer Keith Berndt; and Administrative Assistant Joyce Schepp. <br /> <br />2. <br /> <br />MEETING CLOSED AT 4:05 PM FOR ATTORNEY/CLIENT CONSULTATION <br />Mrs. Sorum read from the notice for today's meeting that the Cass County Board of <br />Commissioners are meeting in executive session for the purpose of discussing pending civil <br />litigation and adversarial administrative proceedings based on North Dakota Century Code <br />44-04-19.1, the exceptions allowed for attorney consultation and/or negotiation. The issue <br />to be discussed with the county's legal counsel is the North Dakota Department of <br />Agriculture administrative complaint. <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Wagner moved and Mr. Vanyo seconded to close the meeting <br />at 4:05 PM pursuant to the notice read by the chairwoman.
