<br />Brian Rudie, P .E. <br />Project Engineer <br />EDU.CAIION <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />University of Minnesota, Bachelor of Civil Engineering with Distinction, 1992. <br />University of Minnesota, Master of Science, Structural Engineering, 1997. <br /> <br />GENERAL EXPERIENCE <br /> <br />Employed as a Structural Engineer by Erickson Engineering since April, 2000, <br />Previously employed by the Minnesota Department of Transportation Office of Bridges <br />and Structures since 1992. <br /> <br />Brian's duties with Erickson Engineering include design of prefabricated steel truss, <br />timber truss, and timber beam pedestrian bridges. Brian also designs other timber <br />structures including railroad bridges, vehicular bridges, salt storage buildings and <br />retaining walls. <br /> <br />Brian performs detailed structural analysis and design of highway bridges using all <br />types of materials (i.e., concrete, steel, timber) as well as other miscellaneous and <br />advanced structural design work. <br /> <br />Since being employed at Erickson Engineering, some of the projects Brian has been <br />involved in the design of include: <br /> <br />Bridqe 62900: This bridge is located on Bailey/Maxwell Connection over TH 61 in the <br />City of St. Paul. The design was completed in 2002. The structure consists of one 44.3 <br />m. long prestressed concrete beam span, with a 1.2 m. raised median, 3.6 m. sidewalk, <br />and 29.4 m. wide roadway. <br /> <br />Bridqe 36526: This bridge is located in Koochiching County and was completed in 2002. <br />The structure consists of one 44 m. long prestressed concrete beam span. The bridge is <br />skewed at 20°, with an 8.4 m. wide roadway. <br /> <br />Bridqe 31545: This bridge is located in Itasca County and was completed in 2002. The <br />structure consists of three haunched continuous concrete slab spans (46 ft. - 62 ft. - 46 <br />ft.). The bridge is skewed at 20°, with a 32 ft. wide roadway. <br /> <br />Bridqe 64572: This bridge is located in Redwood County and was completed in 2003. <br />The structure consists of one 125 ft. long prestressed concrete beam span, The bridge is <br />skewed at 45°, with a 32 ft. wide roadway. <br />
