VICTIMS OF CRIME ACT (VOCA) GRANT <br /> AGREEMENT TO PROVIDE ASSISTANCE <br /> SUB-GRANTEE# 14. 26 <br /> WHEREAS, providing services to victims of crime is a goal to ND Division of <br /> Adult Services and Cass County Victim/Witness Assistance Program <br /> and <br /> WHEREAS, certain Federal Victims of Crime Act Funds are available through the ND <br /> Division of Adult Services to provide such services in the areas served by <br /> Cass County Victim/Witness Assistance Program <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, the ND Division of Adult Services, hereinafter referred to as the <br /> Division, and Cass County Victim/Witness Assistance Program <br /> hereinafter referred to as the Provider, enter into the following: <br /> CONTRACT <br /> 1. EFFECTIVE DATE. The agreement shall be in effect beginning July 1, 2014 and continuing <br /> through June 30, 2015. <br /> 2. SCOPE OF SERVICE. The Provider agrees that 100% of the federal funds received under this <br /> grant shall be used for direct services to crime victims or other activities authorized as <br /> allowable activities under current VOCA guidelines; the Provider further agrees that funds will <br /> be used only as proposed in the grant application approved by the state. <br /> 3. COMPENSATION. The Division will provide $ 30,381 toward the total costs incurred <br /> by the project. Requests for reimbursement payments will be processed monthly or at a <br /> minimum quarterly and will be made contingent upon the receipt of required expenditure <br /> reports. <br /> The Provider agrees that all funds received will be used in a timely fashion, will not be held in <br /> an interest bearing account, and that any funds not obligated by June 30, 2015, will be returned <br /> to the state for redistribution. <br />
