<br />Commission Minutes--September 7,2004 <br /> <br />2789 <br /> <br />Commissioners agreed to hold a special meeting to continue reviewing the 2005 budget at <br />9:00 AM on September 15, 2004, in the Commission Room. <br /> <br />24. CORRESPONDENCE, Received and filed <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Vanyo moved and Mr. Wagner seconded to receive and file <br />correspondence outlined by the secretary as follows: Motion carried. <br /> <br />State Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation letter stating the Cass County Jail <br />is in compliance with state correctional facility rules, and information on training for <br />staff who deliver medications; <br />copy of letter to Mike Vandrovec, Veteran's Service Representative, from <br />Commissioner Darrell Vanyo, for his assistance to a veteran's widow; <br />letter from Fargo Mayor Bruce Furness regarding reduction of the property tax rate <br />based on 2% of total valuation; <br />North Dakota Department of Transportation information on the County Road <br />Advisors' Conference in Rapid City on October 20 and 21 at the Ramkota Inn, and <br />application for Transportation Enhancement Projects; <br />"Project Breckenridge" invitation to attend a ceremony on September 11, 2004, <br />celebrating completion of the first segment of the Red River of the North as an official <br />canoeing and boating route; <br />invitation to attend the ground breaking ceremony for the Maple River Dam <br />construction, beginning with a presentation at the Fargo Holiday Inn at 1 :00 PM on <br />September 15, 2004. <br /> <br />25.
