Commission Minutes—August 18, 2014 4358 <br /> REGULAR MEETING OF CASS COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS <br /> AUGUST 18, 2014 <br /> 1. MEETING CALLED TO ORDER <br /> Chairman Ken Pawluk called the meeting to order at 3:30 PM with all members present as <br /> follows: Chad M. Peterson, Darrell Vanyo, Mary Scherling, Vern Bennett, and Ken Pawluk. <br /> Mr. Pawluk welcomed members from West Fargo Boy Scouts Troop 232 to today's meeting. <br /> 2. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE <br /> Heather Worden led the Pledge of Allegiance. <br /> 3. MINUTES APPROVED <br /> MOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Bennett moved and Mr. Vanyo seconded that the minutes of the <br /> previous meeting be approved as written. Motion carried. <br /> 4. AGENDA, Order approved <br /> MOTION, passed <br /> Mrs. Scherling moved and Mr. Peterson seconded to approve the order of <br /> the agenda with the addition of a request to close out 2009 FEMA Flood <br /> Mitigation Assistance 2 Project to the consent agenda. Motion carried. <br /> 5. CONSENT AGENDA APPROVED <br /> MOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Vanyo moved and Mr. Peterson seconded to approve the consent <br /> agenda as follows: On roll call vote, the motion carried unanimously. <br /> a. Authorize the publication of the annual notice for weed cutting. <br /> b. Receive the monthly financial statement from the Auditor's Office for the month ended <br /> July 31, 2014. <br /> c. Approve special event permits for the West Fargo Speedway Steakhouse & Event <br /> Center to serve alcoholic beverages on May 2, 2015, during the hours of 5:00 PM to <br /> 12:00 AM for a wedding reception to be held at Bonanzaville, U.S.A. in West Fargo, <br /> North Dakota; for B & G Beverages II, Inc. d/b/a the Town Hall Bar to serve alcoholic <br /> beverages on Friday, August 15, 2014, during the hours of 4:00 PM to 2:00 AM for a <br /> Quinceanera event at the Red River Valley Fairgrounds in West Fargo, North Dakota; <br /> for B & G Beverages II, Inc. d/b/a the Town Hall Bar to serve alcoholic beverages on <br /> Saturday, September 6, 2014, during the hours of 5:00 PM to 1:00 AM for a wedding <br /> reception at Bonanzaville, U.S.A. in West Fargo, North Dakota; and for B & G <br /> Beverages II, Inc. d/b/a the Town Hall Bar to serve alcoholic beverages on Friday, <br /> September 19, 2014, and Saturday, September 20, 2014, during the hours of 8:00 AM <br /> to 1:00 AM each day for a Junk Market for EcoChic in the Ag Hartl Building at the Red <br /> River Valley Fairgrounds in West Fargo, North Dakota. <br /> d. Approve a permit for Sanford Health Foundation to hold a raffle on August 22, 2014, at <br /> the Wild Rice Bar & Grill in Wild Rice, North Dakota. <br />
