Commission Minutes—May 19, 2014 4299 <br /> MOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Peterson moved and Mr. Vanyo seconded to accept the bid from S&S <br /> Landscaping to purchase a Gravely Pro Turn 460 Model 992234 for a <br /> mower replacement at Brewer Lake in the amount of $5,561.00. On roll <br /> call vote, the motion carried unanimously. <br /> 12. VOUCHERS, Approved <br /> MOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Peterson moved and Mr. Vanyo seconded to approve Voucher No. <br /> 278,074 through Voucher No. 278,466. On roll call vote, the motion <br /> carried unanimously. <br /> 13. METROCOG 2040 STUDY PLAN; WRRDA BILL; 404 PERMIT; PLEASANT TOWNSHIP, <br /> Committee reports <br /> Mr. Peterson said MetroCOG has completed the 2040 transportation plan, and it is available <br /> online. The MetroCOG membership dues will increase to $425 per year in 2015 which is a <br /> 5% increase. <br /> Mr. Vanyo said they are hopeful the Water Resources Reform & Development Act <br /> (WRRDA) bill will be passed by the U.S. Senate later this week. Mr. Vanyo will be a guest <br /> speaker on "Point of View" tomorrow night to discuss the legislation. <br /> Mr. Berndt said they are in the process of awarding contracts for the Oxbow/Hickson/Bakke <br /> Levee and are still working on the 404 permit. The state engineer received a letter from <br /> Pleasant Township regarding permits for the levee. All permits are required and legal <br /> counsel is reviewing all requirements. <br /> 14. CORRESPONDENCE, Received and filed <br /> MOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Peterson moved and Mr. Vanyo seconded to receive and file <br /> correspondence outlined by the secretary as follows: Motion carried. <br /> - Letter from the North Dakota Department of Transportation regarding 2015 projects to <br /> receive Transportation Alternatives Program (TAP) funding. <br /> 15.
