To date, flood fighting and recovery expenses are Charlotte Sandvik $8,923,531.30 and FEMA/State reimbursements are $7,314,966.62. Currently, 701-241-5611 $126,331.16 is expected to be received in reimbursements for large projects that were submitted for reimbursement in 2013. Cass County's cost share for this flood Director of is estimated at $1,482,233.52. See the attached summary of the 2009 Flood Fight & Recovery. Equalization During the 2009 Legislative Session, funding was made available by the North Dakota Frank Klein Senate Bill # 2012, which is 3% of the eligible flood costs. Since all of the small 701-241-5616 projects within Cass County for the 2009 flood have been completed and audited, this 3% has been received and can be paid out according to the attached schedule. The total 3% reimbursement is $68,327.52 with $42,378.91 being paid out to townships and other outside agencies and the remaining is Cass County's portion. FEMA's audit of the 2009 flood resulted in a de-obligation of funds in the amount of $114,245.34 due to incomplete sites from township project worksheets. See the attached audit results. A payment of $39,063.11 (114,245.34 *94% = $107,390.62 — 68,327.52) was sent to the state on March 3, 2014 to pay for the incomplete sites.
