The project is for the Parenting <br />Resources Center of the Cass County Extension Office. <br /> <br />We are requesting authorization for funds deposited in mid-November 2003, in <br />the amount of$1,150, to be spent in 2004 from line item 101-4502-464-3778. The funds <br />will be used to support program expenditures related to the Circle of Parents program <br />through the 2004 calendar year. <br /> <br />As discussed on previous occasions, it gets difficult when our funders for this <br />program and fund availability do not coincide with the county's budget year. In this case, <br />it was our original understanding that the funds were being placed in a mini-grant line <br />item that would allow expenses to be paid over two budget years. We recently learned <br />that was not the case. Another factor is that the funds were received in November 2003 <br />during a time when we had a staff vacancy in this program.
