RESOLUTION NO. <br /> RESOLUTION TO ADOPT THE MULTI-HAZARD MITIGATION PLAN <br /> A RESOLUTION OF THE CASS COUNTY COMMISSION TO ADOPT THE 2014 CASS COUNTY <br /> MULTI-JURISDICTIONAL, MULTI-HAZARD MITIGATION PLAN <br /> WHEREAS,the Cass County Commission recognize the threat that natural hazards pose <br /> to people and property within Cass County, North Dakota; and <br /> WHEREAS,the Cass County Commission and participating city councils have prepared a multi- <br /> hazard mitigation plan,hereby known as 2014 Cass County Multi-Jurisdictional, Multi-Hazard <br /> Mitigation Plan in accordance with the Disaster Mitigation Act of 2000; and <br /> WHEREAS,the as 2014 Cass County Multi-Jurisdictional, Multi-Hazard Mitigation Plan identifies <br /> mitigation goals and actions to reduce or eliminate long-term risk to people and property in Cass <br /> County from the impacts of future hazards and disasters; and <br /> WHEREAS,adoption by the Cass County Commission demonstrates a commitment to hazard <br /> mitigation and achieving the goals outlined in the 2014 Cass County Multi-Jurisdictional, Multi- <br /> Hazard Mitigation Plan. <br /> NOW THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CASS COUNTY COMMISSION THAT: <br /> Cass County adopts the 2014 Cass County Multi-Jurisdictional, Multi-Hazard Mitigation Plan. <br /> ADOPTED by a vote of in favor and against,and abstaining, <br /> this day of , <br /> APPROVED: ATTEST: <br /> By: By: <br /> Ken Pawluk, Chairman <br />
