I recently received quotes for the emissions equipment. I <br /> also received quotes for replacing the annex generator with a new generator that <br /> meets the standards. I am awaiting a quote for the replacement cost of the jail <br /> generator. (Options 1 and 2 below) <br /> A third option would be to would be to discontinue our peak-controlled contract <br /> with Xcel. This would cause our electric rates to increase, but would exempt us from <br /> the new EPA rules because we'd be using it only for emergency use. <br /> These expenditures were unanticipated and therefore not budgeted.
