Commission Minutes November 4, 2013 4227 <br /> MOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Pawluk moved and Mr. Vanyo seconded to approve the expenses for <br /> the Flood Diversion Board of Authority in the amount of $1,023,383.20 <br /> and to remit $113,680.12 for Cass County's share of cash flow to cover <br /> Minnesota receivables for the month of October, 2013. On roll call vote, <br /> the motion carried unanimously. <br /> 13. VOUCHERS, Approved <br /> MOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Vanyo moved and Mr. Peterson seconded to approve Voucher No. <br /> 274,345 through Voucher No. 274,555. On roll call vote, the motion <br /> carried unanimously. <br /> 14. FLOOD DIVERSION UPDATE; WELLNESS SEMINARS; STATE WATER COMMISSION <br /> FUNDING POLICY; MEETING UPDATES, Committee reports <br /> Mr. Vanyo said in the last few weeks he met with three homeowners that live upstream of <br /> the diversion project, and will continue to meet with other residents to discuss their <br /> concerns. <br /> Mr. Berndt said The Village will provide a Work and Life Balance seminar on Tuesday, <br /> November 5 for county employees as part of the wellness program. <br /> Mr. Berndt attended a meeting last week with the North Dakota Water Coalition, and one of <br /> the topics discussed was proposed changes to the State Water Commission cost share <br /> policy for project funding. He said this issue will be scheduled for discussion at a future <br /> commission meeting. <br /> Mrs. Scherling attended the Flood Diversion Project Assessment Committee (DPAC) <br /> meeting last week. She said the focus of discussion was on special assessing properties <br /> that have zero values in the county. <br /> 15.
