<br />and women, elected leaders, citizens and interest group and agency representatives, Public input <br />received was presented to Metro COG's Transportation Technical Committee and through this <br />process, significant additions and deletions were made to the Plan's preliminary findings. <br /> <br />Additionally, the preliminary MTP findings were submitted to over 30 local, state and federal <br />agencies for review and comment. Each agency was asked to comment on environmental, social <br />or physical aspects of the proposed short and long-range projects, and this feedback was <br />incorporated into the project screening factors, A list ofthe agencies contacted is provided in the <br />appendix. <br /> <br />In early June, the draft Plan was prepared and another round of public input was undertaken. <br />Encompassed in this effort was publication of the draft Plan on the COG website, preparation of <br />executive summaries, distribution of plan copies to libraries, city halls and county courthouses, <br />Additional1y, an evening meeting was convened......",...", <br /> <br />During each phase of the MTP's public involvement process, all pertinent COG public <br />participation requirements were met or exceeded.
